On March 31st, the seminar of the First Professional Manager Proficiency Competition for College Students in Zhejiang Province was held at the School of Business Administration of ZUFE. Experts and scholars from universities and trade associations in Zhejiang Province gathered together to discuss the topic of "Providing service to the local economy, promoting digital transformation, practicing green management, and co-training talents".

At the seminar, Wang Chongming, senior professor of liberal arts at Zhejiang University, was invited to give a speech entitled "Qualification System and Empowerment Strategies for Professional Managers." Then, Huang Weihua, CPC Secretary of the School, introduced the competition scheme on behalf of the competition committee. Participants put forward opinions and suggestions on the organization and scoring criteria of the competition. It was agreed at the meeting that this competition was based on a wonderful conception and a high jumping-off point, and will surely strengthen the competency of students majoring in management. Also, the competition was believed to be conducive to integrating industry and education and bridging the communication gap between colleges and enterprises.

The First Professional Manager Proficiency Competition for College Students in Zhejiang Province will be officially launched in mid-April. Driven by the mission of solving the practical problems enterprises encountered during the digital management and the transformation and upgrading of green management, the competition creatively proposed the model of "Problems from enterprises, solutions from colleges, and implementation from both sides," aiming to provide new ideas for enterprises’ digital management, for colleges to innovate with enterprises and offer services to the local economy, and for new models to train management talents.
