The academic seminar of Chinese modernization-oriented Comprehensive Land Consolidation, jointly sponsored by the editorial department of China Land Science, the Land Renovation and Ecological Restoration Branch of China Land Science Society and ZUFE, was held in Hangzhou recently. Huang Jianxin, deputy secretary of the university's Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. About a hundred experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and enterprises and institutions across the country attended the seminar.
On behalf of ZUFE, Huang congratulated the opening of the conference and extended welcomes and thanks to all the experts and scholars present. He hoped that this seminar could be taken as an opportunity to continuously improve the social service and collaborative innovation capabilities, and make greater contributions to Zhejiang's efforts to become "the forerunner in achieving common prosperity for all and provincial modernization".
Attending experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the topics such as development history, current situation and trend of comprehensive land consolidation, the new requirements and characteristics of Chinese path to modernization for comprehensive land consolidation, the theory and technical methods of comprehensive land consolidation in the new era, the difficulties faced by comprehensive land consolidation in the new era and their countermeasures, the comprehensive land consolidation and land space ecological restoration in the new era, and the practice of promoting the integrated protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grass and sand in a coordinated manner, comprehensive land consolidation and farmland protection in the new era.
The successful convening of this seminar is not only conducive to comprehensively summarizing China's fundamental experience in comprehensive land consolidation and ecological restoration, but also will effectively promote the development and scientific research of comprehensive land consolidation and ecological restoration to advance the implementation of China's ecological civilization strategy.
